Cops & Goblins was another success this year—we gave books to 569 children this year, an increase over the approx. 500 from last year. We saw a lot of happy, albeit overheated, children—and parents. All were happy—and sometimes surprised—to see the library there, what the Friends had done in funding most of this, and that they could pick out a book to keep. And we went home tired, sunburned and glad we had done such a good job. My thanks to all of you—it was a great way to get the word out about the library and FOSCL—and to get a new book into a child's hands

POP-UP BOOK SALE
SCL is now accepting book donations. Our stock of gently used books severely depleted with Covid-19 virus restricting donations for almost one and half years. The library now welcomes donations of books that are in good condition and no older than 10 years. Think of all the books you may have purchased from Amazon and BJ's when the library was closed!

Donations will be accepted at the library on Tuesdays from 2-4pm. If you can't come then, pease call the library to schedule a drop-off time. The library's new phone number is 302-858-5518. We appreciate your generosity and look forward to when we can schedule our next book sale.
