FOSCL CAPITAL CAMPAIGN ENDED SEPTEMBER 1, 2009

The Friends of the South Coastal Library sincerely thank the 2,500 donors who generously made over 4,000 individual donations to the very successful Capital Campaign that raised $2,260,000.

Because of the overwhelming support of individuals, communities, towns, businesses and foundations, the Campaign's $2.25 million goal was exceeded, and we now have the finest new and expanded library in Sussex County and maybe even the state of Delaware.

The Capital Campaign is officially over, but that does not mean that the Friends need for financial support has ended. The Friends will continue to provide financial support to the South Coastal Library and Joshua M. Freeman Cultural Center for children and adult programs, enhanced computer software, and cultural programs, that meet the needs of the communities served.
