In anticipation, the South Coastal Library is continually accepting donations of gently used books in good condition and less than 10 years old. The library cannot accept textbooks or encyclopedias. However, donations of Children's books, CDs, DVDs and Audio Books are always welcome. As you do your Spring Cleaning, recycle your books and bring them to the library. Proceeds from the FOSCL Books Sales enable the South Coastal Library to enhance its materials and services to the community.

Book Sale

The Winter Book Sale Was a Huge Success

FOSCL is very grateful to all of you who helped to make the Book Sale a huge success. Through the efforts of our 50+ volunteers who set up and broke down the meeting room and worked as cashiers and customer support for the sale, FOSCL raised $3423.50. We know we would not have been successful without the donations of wonderful materials from our community. That same community showed up at the sale and completed the "green" cycle by purchasing books, DVDs, and CDs. So I guess we can say that our Book Sales are "Green" events in addition to the tremendous benefit to our library in terms of enhances materials, services and programming.
